The Fill Station
2282 Queen St East

On a Monday night, I was craving wings (a rare occasion) and dragged Merky, my brother Rene, and our friend Phil to Fill Station out of compulsion.

As I said in my first post about Fill Station, the wings here are pretty fantastic, and I can’t thank Rebeka enough for telling me about this place. (Rebeka, if you are reading this, thank you!!!!) What more do I need to say about the wings? Generously saucy, yet still crispy! If you like dry, hot, and crispy, try the Cajun.

Along with our wings, we ordered calamari and deep-fried pickles. For pub calamari, these were comparably better than at most other bars and happily shared between the four of us. The deep-fried pickles were really juicy, covered with a great batter. Five pieces don’t divide into four easily. I’ll just say there were some negotiations over the last one.

Fill Station is still great, just as I remembered it! And, Monday nights are still half-price wings with the purchase of a drink! Go!

About

It's quite simple: this is a blog about food. We are two friends, both named Christine, who love to eat. We spend money we don't have on eating out and invite our broke friends to join us. That's how much we love food.
