Le Fumoir Rubs Smokehouse
127 Rue Prince Arthur Est
Montreal, QC
While walking along the St-Laurent Food Festival, we decided to stroll along Rue Prince Arthur Est to find a good place to sit down and have a few drinks. Initially, we walked past Le Fumoir, but I noticed a great looking drink on the patio — like any other girl would. Lo and behold, we ended up going there just for that drink.
The Mexican Bulldog is basically a Margarita and a Corona that drips in the drink the more you drink from the cup. It was great at first, but, in the end, I didn’t like the beer and the guys didn’t like the margarita. It’s unfortunate though that we couldn’t finish the drinks because of the MASSIVE amount of food we already had before this sit-down.
Before we ordered those drinks, we found out we weren’t allowed to just sit in for drinks. We had to order a plate of food to share, so we opted for nachos with pulled pork. Can I say it was probably the best pulled pork I’ve ever had? The flavours took over the nachos, but I didn’t care — I’m not a big fan of nachos anyways.
After some research of the restaurant, Le Fumoir apparently has the best BBQ in Montreal. If their pulled pork can top all other pulled porks I’ve had, I’m definitely a believer.
