Sushi and BBQ294 Dundas Street West  Because the Japanese restaurant on Baldwin St didn’t open ‘til 5pm, we headed to my brother’s go-to place for cheap Japanese while he was still at OCAD. (This was on my second day at CFC’s WSFF.) Rene isn’t 100% about this, but it seems like Sushi and BBQ has raised their prices since he graduated. All bento boxes used to just break a ten but now costs at least the whole purple banknote. After having a bento box at Sushi on Bloor, I opted for a Korean instead. Mmm, bibimbap! Unfortunately, this dish was served cold. (Bibimbap can be served either hot or cold, but, trust me, it’s better hot.) It’s not at all comparable to Buk Chang Dong Soon Tofu’s stone pot bibimbap. x T
