Dufflet Pastries787 Queen St Wwww.dufflet.com
Thirty six years in the business, Dufflet must be doing something right. After a quick lunch with Phil, we decided to go and see for ourselves what make this cafe the “Queen of Cake” in Toronto.
There was no sign of disappointment.
My order consisted of the Caramel Dasquoise Mini ($4,25) , Cappuccino Dasquoise Mini ($4,25), Mini Chocolate Butter Pecan Tart ($2,75), and a day-old Chocolate Truffle Tart (.75).
Although I must admit that this is definitely not a cheap eat, it is surely worth the extra cash to kill that craving for a something that is Pure and Sweet.
I would recommend anyone to try one of the Dasquoise Minis, depending on your preference of either caramel or cappuccino. Try it!

About

It's quite simple: this is a blog about food. We are two friends, both named Christine, who love to eat. We spend money we don't have on eating out and invite our broke friends to join us. That's how much we love food.

Based in Toronto.
